Terms & Conditions

These terms describe how bookings and services are handled by Robert Zee Photo. Please read them before making a booking or payment. Your confirmed package or written service agreement provides the details specific to your session or event.

Your booking and service

Confirm the service, date, start time, location, coverage, included deliverables and total price before paying. Availability is subject to existing bookings and blocked times. Sending an inquiry alone does not confirm an appointment. Services described as Custom pricing require an agreed quote.

Prices and payment

The selected package and any agreed extras determine your price. Additional coverage, travel, location charges or other services must be agreed before they are added. A minimum deposit of 25% of the total is required at booking. You may pay more, including the full amount. The remaining balance is due at least 24 hours before the event starts, in Pacific Time. Bookings made within 24 hours of the start require full payment. Deposits and other payments are refundable according to the cancellation policy below. Do not assume a requested extra is included in a package.

Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the appointment are nonrefundable; however, clients may request to reschedule with Robert, subject to availability.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment, as well as missed appointments, result in forfeiture of the full booking payment. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.

We understand that unexpected emergencies can occur. Requests involving serious illness, family emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances may be considered individually at management's sole discretion. Supporting documentation may be requested, and exceptions are not guaranteed.

Non-transferable bookings

Bookings and payments are non-transferable. They cannot be sold, gifted or reassigned to another client. The original client may request a new date under the rescheduling policy above.

Locations and preparation

Robert can travel to your agreed location in Southern California. Confirm access, parking, permissions and any location requirements in advance. Outfit changes and creative ideas are welcome; plan them within the time included in your package. Tell Robert beforehand about accessibility needs or other considerations that will help your session go smoothly.

Weather and changes made by the studio

If weather or another circumstance affects the agreed session, contact Robert to discuss a suitable location or rescheduled date. If the studio cannot provide the agreed service, Robert will discuss the available remedy with you. The client cancellation policy is not a waiver of your rights when the studio cannot perform.

Arrival and session time

Please be ready at the agreed start time and contact Robert if you are delayed. Late arrival may reduce the available session time. Extensions depend on the location, light and subsequent bookings and are not guaranteed. Additional paid coverage must be agreed before it is provided.

Image use and permissions

Copyright ownership and the permissions to print, share or use delivered images are separate matters. Your package or written agreement should identify the permitted uses. Payment does not by itself transfer copyright. Commercial use, advertising, publication or transfer to another business must be covered by the agreed image-use permissions.

Permission for the studio to use an identifiable person’s likeness in advertising or promotional materials should be addressed separately. A booking is not a blanket model release. A parent or guardian must handle any necessary permissions for a child. Tell Robert about privacy preferences before the session.

Editing and delivery

The package or written agreement defines the included photos, editing, prints, albums or other deliverables. Confirm delivery timing and any rush needs before booking. Special composites, additional retouching and extra products are included only when selected or agreed. RAW or unedited files are not promised unless expressly included in the written agreement. Keep a copy of delivered files; ongoing archive availability should be confirmed rather than assumed.

See the Privacy Policy for information about website data and contact choices. Discuss any preferences about photographs of you or your family directly with Robert before your session.
